Raw Goat Milk for CATS
Yes, while Boss Cat Raw Goat Milk has lactose in it, the lactose (naturally occurring sugar) is less that you’d find in cow’s dairy milk. Additionally, it has been found that pets absorb goat milk can be easier to absorb than cow’s milk, and can tolerate the lactose in goat milk for this reason.
Boss Cat only uses the finest raw ingredients. The sediment on the bottom is a combination of our organic spice blend. Please shake well, before serving. Spices will blend together nicely.
Taurine is an amino acid like substance that is involved as a precursor in many enzymatic reactions and is a required building block of protein. It also is proven at certain levels to support the immune systems function and improve digestion.
Probiotics are proven at certain levels to do the following:
- Aid Overall Digestion- Good Bacteria balance in gut
- Regulates the Immune System
DHA is a type of polyunsatured fat from the omega 3 fatty acids family. Marine fish such as herring, mackerel, salmon and sardines are rich in DHA. DHA is important for brain function as well as for the anti-inflammatory systems in the body as it directly supports the production of anti-inflammatory hormone like substances known as prostaglandins. DHA also supports healthy skin and a shiny coat.
Our Raw Goat Milk utilizes a Salmon Oil (as the source of DHA).
The recommended amount of DHA for cats is: 40 mg/kg of body weight.
It is not required at this time but DHA is always helpful as an anti-inflammatory supporting nutrient and for cognitive function.
This product is intended for intermittent or supplemental feeding only. We recommend a slow introduction of new food products for any pet. Start with half of the recommended serving size for a period of time and work up to the full serving size over time. Please reference our recommended daily serving chart.
We use cinnamon for antibacterial and anti-fungal properties and can assist with arthritis and muscular inflammation. In older animals, the ginger can aid with digestion and contains natural antioxidants. Turmeric has natural anti-inflammatory and antioxidant.
