Boss Nation Supports | National Police K9 Dog Foundation
“The National Police Dog Foundation began in 1998 as a small group of local volunteers to help fund the K-9 program for the City of Ventura, CA. They soon realized the importance of a civilian organization to help fund K-9 units. Not only do police departments lack the initial funds to purchase and train a dog, but many also do not have a budget for serious medical issues. Ways they help: K9 Trainings-Assist law enforcement agencies with K9 training and equipment. Active Care – Assists law enforcement agencies with medical care during active duty. Retired Care- Assists law enforcement agencies with medical care during retirement. K9 Purchasing- Assist law enforcement agencies with funding to purchase K9s. K9 Heat Alarms- K9 Heat Alarm offers grants that assist law enforcement agencies with the costs related to the purchase of heat alarms in vehicles equipped for K-9s. Heat exhaustion is a major cause of death for active K-9s. As well as K9 Retirement – The National Police Dog Foundation’s K9 Memorial Fund has been set up to assist Law Enforcement Agencies who are not only grieving from the loss of one of their K9 officers but also who do not have the funds to replace the K9s.”

Boss Nation Supports | Baunji Strong
HOPE KNOWS NO LIMITS
Baunji truly is a Special dog and will always be the love of my life. I remember seeing a picture pop up of this dark brindle pit mix who looked absolutely striking and built like a tank but was set very soon to be euthanized. I remember following the thread on social media and thinking how is this dog set to be put down. Through calling the shelter and missing return calls he was one of 6 to be put down that afternoon. I wasn’t able to speak to someone at the shelter and that evening all 6 were off the list which meant Baunji was gone and I was heartbroken…I’ve learned just enough to realize in my life time I’ll see a cure to conquer this disease once and for all . That’s my mission and now we help parents around the world with his amazing story and Our Journey. Baunji’s Journey brought and continues to bring so much Hope to many pet parents facing difficult decisions. In Baunji’s Journey, HOPE KNOWS NO LIMITS.
Boss Nation Supports | Lanai Cat Conservatory
” It all began with sterilizing Lanai’s street cats in 2004. That effort was followed by sheltering them in a horse corral in the mountain community of Koele. We were just a small committed group of cat lovers trying to do the right thing on an island without an animal shelter, rescue group or veterinarian……In the last few years, the sanctuary has expanded its family of cats. It rescues cats from protected areas where native and endangered ground-nesting birds such as the ‘Ua’u, the Hawaiian Petrel. Cats are also rescued from Lanai City, which is home to 3,000 residents. As a result, the Sanctuary has brought in more than 1,800 cats since 2014. More than 1,000 have been adopted.
Funding comes from vacationers who visit the sanctuary and give to support our mission.
Above all, Lanai Cat Sanctuary believes that cats deserve to live their best life possible. Governed by a board of directors, it is a 501c3 nonprofit led by responsible, ethical, and experienced leadership in animal welfare.”

Started more than 30 years ago by Bertha Yergat and sustained by Susan and John Hamil, there are endless stories to be told about its
evolution, resident cats, dedicated staff and volunteers and its historical ties to Laguna Beach.

Boss Nation Supports | Sal The Rescue Cat Vet Costs
Keely, the owner of Sal, the rescue cat I adopted from a shelter in Salisbury, NC. I came across a Facebook post on the Rowan County Animal Shelter Facebook page and instantly I knew that this was meant to be my cat. With a date set for his euthanization, I was so worried about Sal. I couldn’t sleep at night wondering if someone was going to adopt him. I applied to adopt him and made the journey down to NC to save him. I cried like a baby. Before I ever met Sal, I already loved him.
Sal stopped eating his food for 1-2 days and began vomiting suddenly. This was very unusual for a food-motivated cat. When I took him to the vet initially, the vet told me he seemed pretty healthy and gave him some shots for nausea and sent me home with instructions to feed him a special I/D prescription wet food, he still was vomiting. Another visit and X-rays resulted in discovering a tumor that was compressing his trachea and his lungs, causing his vomiting, nausea, and breathing issues.
Specialist visits out of town, and several appointments and treatments later, Sal is on the mends but still has a long way to go. As of April 7, 2023 He has completed 6 rounds of chemotherapy, and has about 17 weeks left. good news is his tumor is shrinking. His esophagus is no longer being compressed, more lung space is visible, and he is no longer struggling to breath, and his appetite is growing! Sal still has rounds of chemotherapy to complete, and treatment is costly. Whether you can donate, or share at least send good thoughts and positive vibes for Sal!

Boss Nation Supports | Bella and Sunshine Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit rescue based in sunny Southern California focused on assisting homeless and shelter Doberman Pinschers.
Their organization’s first priority is to save Dobermans and Doberman mixes that are in shelters and are in danger of euthanasia if no one steps up to help them. They also assist with taking in and rehoming strays that have not been claimed by an owner and have nowhere to go. (Some shelters are currently overwhelmed or experiencing disease outbreak, and will not take in strays unless the stray is injured or dead.) They occasionally assist private owners rehome their Dobermans 1) that were inherited from a relative who passed away, or 2) whose owner(s) can no longer care for the Doberman due to circumstances beyond the owner’s control (loss of job, housing, etc.).
They are volunteer-operated and volunteer-managed. In other words, no one in this organization takes home any income from their work with the organization. 100% of donations received go straight to helping shelter and homeless pets. Overhead and operations cost is paid for via a special grant specifically for that purpose from one of our corporate benefactors.
Boss Nation Supports | Go Fund Me: Bumper the Cat hit by a car needs our help. Bumper’s Story: My name is Kris, On the morning of 2/7/23 I came across a cat laying down on a busy road after being struck by a car. I was able to bring him to the closest Vet to get looked at. He was pretty banged up.
He is a 1 year male. With 8 lives and a long life ahead of him, I decided to do my part in getting him back on his feet. Once he’s able, he will stay with me until I find a forever home, or stay permanently.
He is currently at MSU Veterinary Center. The estimated cost is 7-$10,000. They have a few programs they run that will be helping out with the cost. Any funds left over will be donated back to MSU Veterinary Center to pass along everyone’s generosity to the next one in need.

Boss Nation Supports | Go Fund Me: Donate to help Benson get a service dog
Bensons Story: Hi, our names are Brandon and Brooke and we are trying to raise money for a service dog for our son Benson. A little about our son Benson! He is now 10 months old. Benson had his first seizure at 4 months old. This led to him being diagnosed with Dravet syndrome in September 2022. Dravet is a rare form of drug resistant epilepsy. Unfortunately, there is currently no cure for Dravet. It will bring many challenges and developmental delays as Benson grows. Shortly after his diagnosis we began looking into seizure dogs. We found most trainers have a waiting list of a few years. We were lucky enough to be connected with a local trainer from the Byron area. Even better news was that he has a dog that has already begun training. A service dog will help monitor Benson for seizures, alert others when he needs help, along with catch him before he hits the ground during a seizure. A spectrum of autism is known to be developed in the toddler stages of life with Dravet syndrome. A service dog will be trained to help with the needs that come with that as well. There are many challenges Benson will face in the future. The benefits of having a service dog will allow us to provide Benson with a better quality of life. It will help us stay ahead of his medical needs and be aware of seizures.

Boss Nation Supports The Hero Co – Many, many Veterans returned home with serious trauma from war. This Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) drastically changed their lives and way too many have taken their lives battling this force alone. With no VA funding for service animals, many Veterans just cannot afford the cost of the trained dogs that they need.
With this in mind, we launched The Hero Company to fund service and companion animals for these Veterans suffering with PTSD at ZERO cost to them. It is our way of fighting for our Heroes here at home. To date, we have raised over $500,000 dollars and will continue as we march towards our goal of $10 Million raised for Veterans in need.
