BOSSPAWS Apple Pie Freezes Treats
As the leaves begin to change and sweater weather approaches, we fill our free time with fun activities and our tummies with savory snacks. We go to pumpkin patches to pick out the perfectly shaped gourd, bring it home, carve a funny face in it and bake its yummy seeds. Fresh apples are picked straight from the orchard and baked into wholesome pastries. Corn mazes are fully grown and ready for teams of people to see how fast they can solve them. And the best part of all of these activities is that our favorite fur friends can participate in them!
Fall offers so much to pet owners. The weather is perfect for our pup’s health and wellbeing. Cool temperatures allow for outside playtime all day and our dogs love to take advantage of it. They can swim without getting too cold and run miles without overheating. They don’t have to constantly be searching for shade to cool off and they don’t have to be cuddled up in a blanket to keep warm. It’s perfect!
On top of all of the exciting things going on during the fall months, some of us also love to celebrate two major holidays. Halloween and Thanksgiving are so much more exciting when our pets join in. They get to dress up and tag along for a fun night of trick or treating or helping to hand out candy to the neighborhood kids. And when the end of November comes around, they are always on the list of things we are thankful for.
I love using healthy treats to show my pupper just how much I love him. A slice of apple, a tablespoon of pumpkin, or a small cup of goat’s milk can go a really long way when we praise our pups, but sometimes they need something a little tastier. While we are enjoying our apple pie or pumpkin spice treats after all of our fall activities, our fur friends can feel a little left out. They need a fall flavored treat to chow down on after the pumpkin patch, apple orchard, corn maze, trick or treating, at Thanksgiving Dinner or just after a good play session outside. This treat recipe not only satisfies our pets taste buds, but is also quick and easy to make on a tight schedule. Apple pie is an all-time favorite and your pets will love it just as much as you do!
This recipe is the most fun to make with your best friend by your side. They love to try all of the individual ingredients, just to make sure that they are the best quality before being combined into the perfect frozen apple pie. If your pet is a little spoiled, like mine, you can even let them lick the spoon!
