Does BOSS DOG Raw Goat Milk have lactose?
Yes, while BOSS DOG Raw Goat Milk has lactose in it, the lactose (naturally occurring sugar) is less that you’d find in cow’s dairy milk. Additionally, it has been found that pets absorb goat milk can be easier to absorb than cow’s milk, and can tolerate the lactose in goat milk for this reason.
Why does BOSS DOG Raw Goat Milk have sediment on the bottom
BOSS DOG only used the finest raw ingredients. The sediment on the bottom is a combination of our organic spice blend. Please shake well, before serving. Spices will blend together nicely.
What is Taurine? Why is Taurine Good for Dogs?
Taurine is an amino acid like substance that is involved as a precursor in many enzymatic reactions and is a required building block of protein.
Do Cats require Taurine?
Cats require 0.2% taurine in a canned pet food, 0.1% in a dry pet food.
Is it ok to refreeze your goat milk if it thaws?
We do not recommend refreezing after thawing.
My bottle of BOSS DOG Raw Goat Milk seems bloated and it is frozen. Is there an issue with the product?
No. The product is safe, the bloating is caused by the expansion of the liquid when frozen. It should return to normal shape once thawed.

What is DHA, and what type of DHA do you use? Why is DHA good for dogs? Which food are generally DHA deficient? Are there several types of DHA, and why is yours better?
DHA is a type of polyunsatured fat from the omega 3 fatty acids family. Marine fish such as herring, mackerel, salmon and sardines are rich in DHA. DHA is important for brain function as well as for the anti-inflammatory systems in the body as it directly supports the production of anti-inflammatory hormone like substances known as prostaglandins. DHA also supports healthy skin and a shiny coat.
Boss Dog Raw Goat Milk utilizes a Salmon Oil (as the source of DHA).
How much DHA is good for my pet?
Dogs require 0.05% combined EPA and DHA. Or just 0.05% of EPA or 0.05% of DHA. This is the minimum requirement.
Do cats require DHA?
It is not required at this time but DHA is always helpful as an anti-inflammatory supporting nutrient and for cognitive function.
How many times per day can my pet eat Boss Dog Raw Goat Milk?
This product is intended for intermittent or supplemental feeding only. We recommend a slow introduction of new food products for any pet. Start with half of the recommended serving size for a period of time and work up to the full serving size over time. Please reference our recommended daily serving chart.
Ginger, turmeric and cinnamon are used in your Raw Goat Milk. Are there specific reasons why you use them?
We use cinnamon for antibacterial and anti-fungal properties and can assist with arthritis and muscular inflammation. In older animals, the ginger can aid with digestion and contains natural antioxidants. Turmeric has natural anti-inflammatory and antioxidant.

At times, lactose can be hard for some dogs to digest. We are pleased to be 100% Lactose Free. Our R&D team worked tirelessly to develop a formula that would ensure a 100% lactose free product. Utilizing the long vat hold times and enzymes designed to remove lactose we successfully created and achieved a lactose free Greek Style Yogurt Treat for Dogs. All formulas and products have been tested to confirm that our treats are lactose free.

We use a variety of strains, both used in Greek Style Yogurt as well as specially crafted for Boss Dog bellies. How do I serve the frozen yogurt to my dog?
We recommend simply opening the cup, removing the lid, placing it on the ground and allowing your furry friend to lick it from the cup. Be sure to remove the cup when done. Alternately, you can remove the lid, pop out the frozen “puck” and place in your dog’s favorite serving bowl.
